Hell's Seniors
I found this article pretty interesting just because it turns our normal conception of the elderly around. I also found the discussion of potential causes behind this problem to be particularly of interest. We normally think in terms of society "failing" the youth and "leading" them into criminal activity, but the old can be affected by the same circumstances. Crime Problem in Japan: Elders

Ha, this is too funny. It makes me think of that old "Monty Python" skit, "Hell's Grannies." Maybe they know that they'll get away with it because they're older and that's why they do it? Hey, old people gotta get their thrills somehow.
