It seems that the Japanese government in the Wakayama prefecture has initiated an emergency drill off the coast of Japan to reduce tsunami related deaths caused by earthquakes.
It's estimated that when a tonankai earthquake occurs, 8,600 people could loose their lives.
It seems its only a matter of time before the next earthquake and they can only lessen the severity by drilling....therefore lives will be lost, its only a question of how many.
Hehe...I think moving far away from the coast would be a good idea!

In Japan we have a lot more earthquakes...like every a few month.
Most of them are small though.
When you feel the ground shaking when you go to Japan, just never mind it.
If you get too scared, that's not cool...maybe mean people laugh at you.
But if it's a big earthquake, just do as people around you do.
by the way when you say the date in Japanese, you are supposed to say it in this order,
Year/Month/Date.
